LCR Top Speed?

Was wondering what the top speed anyone has out of a standard LCR. (Under safe and controlled conditions of course)?
I got to 140mph and chickened out of going any faster, it felt like it still had alot to give, just didnt want to run the risk of getting busted and it felt pretty fast, might be more confident next time lol.
I was talking to a guy in pub the other day and he said he had 159mph? is this do-able or is he full of S**T? He has been known to tell a few prokies.

160-165mph is do-able on the speedo but in reality it will be more like 150-155mph.

I have had 150mph out of my lcr on the speedo but some silly fella decided to pull out into my lane so the brembo brakes had to act fast and get me out of trouble. it was still pulling hard though and thats standard. maybe another day eh.

Yeah, fancy him not seeing you doing more than twice the legal limit, eh? He should've been more careful

I'm no angel (seriously) but come on - if you're doing 150 with other drivers around you ought to be thinking twice as fast and giving other drivers twice as much room for error/lack of judgement - it's not unreasonable for him not to be expecting you to be going so fast...

I've been in convoy with two LCR's and I know 159mph was the GPS readout as I passed one of them in my Ibiza...

the most ive done was 144MPH in a BMW 325 converable on the German autobahn. TBH, it felt like nothing coz lots cars were overtsaking me at astronomic speeds.
But one thing, mate if you are gonna discuss these kind of things please, for the sake of your precoius license, dont ever let your license plate ever slip on to this site if you ever post pics.
