the mirrors are the same on the LC and LCR.

during 2003, they updated the teardrop shape for all leons.
this took place towards the end of the 210bhp LCRs.

ive had a LC and LCR and the mirrors are identical.

its the date of manufacture, not model spec that dictates if they are square or teardrop shape.

If you did want to swap from square to teardrop, its not a direct swap and the plastic trim on the car is also a different shape.
however i cant see it being more complicated than that.

Cheers, thats the answder I was looking for mate

So with regards to swapping for later style (not LCR) I'd need the mirror and plastic surround. I take it the wiring is the same? Or is there an extra cable for folding mirrors?

Any idea on prices?

I have an 02 pre-facelift LC with electric folding mirrors. Nice feature - was quite chuffed when I discovered them, it was a small saving grace after discovering the car didn't have a trip computer

from what i remember you need the loom or it maybe already there, the mirror switches (where it turns to 6 o clock to work) and yes both mirrors

Surrey darling...
The benefit with the early mirrors is that you can use the blue tinted glass from the mk4 Golf... but they will never look as good as the later shape ;)
