Well I found out the car has launch control fitted as standard yesterday - well impressed.

Car stopped / in first gear / clutch in (of course) / foot flat on the accelerator and it sits at approx 4500 rpm - ideal for the perfect launch.

Gotta love these cars !

:D

It's just a limiter that is lower because you're static.

Even my wife's 1.6TDi Copa has this (albeit at a lower point)

Carry on smoking your clutches though

My cupra has it as well. I certainly wont be trying it out. Probably just fry the tyres and the clutch!

It is actually lunch:p control. It controls how quickly the car eats the clutch. Try it by all means but don't over do it because clutches are expensive and not covered by your warranty.
