rules are rules

Nice subtle touches though, was it hard to wrap the bits in carbon fiber? I tried that once years ago and made a complete mess of it, ever since then I've always been afraid to try it again, I know you can get good stuff these days.

Nice work

The carbon fibre is not difficult as long as you take your time, use a hair dryer to heat it up and a scalpel to cut it. I found it best to let it cool down before trimming it.

Well i've been away from here a while, the closest I've got to new mods the following since the summer:
new back bearings, back discs and pads, new cat, and cam belt.
This weekend i had the passenger top mount/bearing replaced, but I was still getting a knocking and creak noise. Further searching by my bro in law (vw tech) has revealed a bloody crack in the chassis leg!

I don't think I will ever get a splitter now :(

Seems i only have bad luck with this car. The garage that did my exhaust last year snapped a bolt off on the turbo. Cheapest price I have to get it sorted is £170, add that to the new rear caliper i need and thats Christmas bombed. And I thought Renaults were bad luck.
