iv noticed my needle wud d
go down if im doing a bita driving up and down hills.. the wee 1.4 just cant hack it.. lol
dnt suppose you guys know of newer i could get a cheap aftermarket exhaust for me 1.4 8v up here in NI preferably county antrim or off a website..
I've had mine 2 and a half years, will be 3 yeans in Janurary.
Thats the exact reason why I want rid of mine, new Job is in Dublin (1 year placement) and while I will be living down there I'll probably take a trip back up home 2 a month or so, to see family and friends, on the few trips I've done to Dublin I've averaged 35mpg, so I really want to change to diesel too, and not just for the MPG, but the torque as well.
Sitting at 80 on the motoway my car was doing 4000rpm and you could nearly watch the petrol gague move.

I'm Back!!!
I'm back to the glorious world of SEAT and SCN
Reason being I unfairly had my graduate contract not renewed just for no proper reason at all![[:@]](/forums/styles/seatcupra/oldforumsmileys/furious.gif "Furious [:@]")
thus meaning I lost the company car, but luckily my Leon never sold (never really wanted to sell it anyway!) and so I'm back driving my lovely little Leon
Only problem is, I got rid of most of my mods to sell it and so is pretty much standard again, and with no job my funds are limited for modding
Ah well. Atleast I have plenty of time to waste on SCN now

Well tyres are getting low, so I think that's a good enough excuse to get some ebay bargain alloys with tyres
Well due to there being bugger all jobs around at the moment, and I've completely lost faith in employers/boss's/managers, I'm currently setting up my own business, so hopefully if goes well an LCR could be possible
Ha, yeah, even though my Leon is 6 years old and getting close to 100k on the clock, it's so much more fun, easier to drive and more responsive
Although I do miss the 60+mpg the focus got!!If you ever put Cupra bumpers on it, please give me first refusal on your rear bumper!
Been after a rear bumper in platinum grey for ages! Not worried about the cupra upgrade myself, and it seems a second hand bumper in good condition would be cheaper than getting mine resprayed!
Recently had the front replaced under insurance, so the back sorted would be great!

Right, I'm officially back!
Well, never went anywhere, but the modding flame inside me kind of died for a bit so hence my RR thread just stopped (mainly due to money issues!).
However, I have now once again caught the modding bug
Ordered this weekend:
- Window Shades (wanted to tint windows, but these are much more cost effective and give good results too)
- Wind Deflectors
Hopefully mods that will happen in the near future:
- Bonnet Bra
- Remap
- Cruise Control
Also, gave my car a proper good clean today since the sun was out and then went for a wee drive up in to the Welsh mountains and took some pics...

lol, and I thought I was being original with my mods
Yeah really looking forward to alltypes, was gutted I couldn't make it last year, it looked like a good laugh.
Given myself a bit of an aim to have a completely clean and sparkling engine bay for the all types show. Really thick with dirt and crap so will take a fair few cleans I think!
