i'm looking to retro fit the OEM Xenon's to mine as well and just wondering what exactly you needed to fit them? i can't find much info at the mo regarding any converters or whatever, or can we just use a HID kit for the bulbs?

I've sold the 6J's
For the OEM Xenon you need the following:

OEM Valeo Units

2x Valeo starters (http://www.ebay.de/itm/VALEO-Xenon-...004369928&po=&ps=63&clkid=8825730216020131453)

2x D1S bulbs (I've got 6000K in it)

Cables from the starter to the bulbs (http://www.ebay.com/itm/27091512929...iewitem=&sspagename=ADME:L:OC:NL:3160&vxp=mtr)

2x W5W sidelights (use LEDs)

2x Baus15S indicatorbulbs

2x H7 Bulbs

Please note that the height adjustment motors are in the Units. They will cost you somewhere around 60 pounds each

is it simple enough to remove the motors from the standard headlights and place them in the xenons?

The motors won't work in the original Xenon's.
They need special ones
If you want to buy a new set the total costs are here in Holland somewhere around 1300 euro's so uhmm somewhere neer 1100 pounds

i am looking to source some second-hand OEM Xenon headlights...surely if there's one breaking then i can use the motors that come with it? just not sure about the ballasts harness whether these will work straight off an original?

I've bought the units with the motors and the work.
The other stuff I've bought from ebay (the links).
The bulbs I've bought from a guy in holland because the original are way to expensive.
The Ballasts normaly work as long as they are okay

so basically it's plug and play to swap them over apart from the bulbs, starter and starter cable?

if there was an online vid/guide could you post it to me to make it a bit easier to visualise...lol

i have the HID kit but prefer the look and light off the oem xenons

It isn't that difficult.
Just take the front bumper of and take the headlights out (2 bolts on top and 2 underneath the unit).
Than take the connector of the back and your ready to put the new ones in.
