I'm not saying that they're no good, but you have to wonder how come you get springs AND shocks for the same price as a decent set of springs?
And personally suspension, brakes and tyres are the places I wouldn't want to go "budget"

For the money it's a good option and comes with two years warranty, give me a shout if you need any prices and I'm sure we'll be able to get the best offer for you.

Just fittted a set on mine. One of my rear shocks leak after less than 24hrs due to an imperfection on the shaft... A quick call and a few questions and a new shock was sent to me.

C spanner is crap and they are quite bouncy when your low low and I struggled to get the rear lower than lowering springs without taking the adjusters out. It's very early days for me to comment any further.

Personal opinion, but keep an eye out on ebay for barely used sets of coilover. I got an eibach set which is around £700 worth of kit for £300 after it had been used for 2 months. Would rather have that than a brand new cheap set.

They're popular because they are cheap, no other reason. They are cr*p quality low rent coilovers and your standard suspension setup is better. Buy a second hand set of KWs or FKs, Weitec Hicons are also far better. A good set of 60mm lowering springs will give far better ride and handling than the JOM coilovers.

There quality. I had a set for a several thousand miles and couldn't fault them, they will go low enough. I have had them on over the winter, with no protection, and they came off fine no hassle at all. I have just removed them and will be selling them soon, and if I was going to buy a set again I wouldn't hesitate buying a second hand set. Great first time coil overs :)

There is a reason they are so cheap

I had a set fitted to a mk4 Astra. Lasted 2 months and 1 front and 1 rear failed.

A warranty is good but you need to pay for fitting and removal when they fail
You also need to pay for postage back and the seller I got mine from advised if I send them back and they are not faulty he will bill me £350 for inspection for a £200 set of coilovers
