The retest was done as soon as I arrived, thrashed it on the way there and got the oil upto 110 degrees. Fresh oil too and some forte fuel treatment.

If you've checked the ignition side of things and all appears well then it really only leaves the Lambda and cat.

Maybe replace the lambda for a new item first as they're not too bad and if that fails get a known good cat on it and see if that changes things.

After that its bowls of the engine time, but i doubt its that as you be seeing blue smoke and oil consumption.

Is that a standard colour? Whats the paint code? That would look good on my Camper

Cheers mate, I knew someone would know the colour....memory like a gold fish me

Not a clue if they are the same fitment? My cat bolts to the downpipe with three bolts, think the lambda sensors in the downpipe too.

Im going to do some more work before it goes in for another MOT, need to get hold of an ABS loom......which could be fun.

I had thrashed mine for a good few miles on the way to the test station without a problem, test guy got in the car and it logged a fault [:@]

Removed the CAT today (which was fun) for a little inspection and I don't think it looks right....

Can't see what little in there is going to do any good?

Also, nearly got my abs loom out. Got to dark in the end but just the rear sensors to unclip and then it can all be pulled out ready for inspection/hunting down a newish one. It aint an easy job and im hoping the dash goes back in ok and I can remember where everything plugs in

Why can't you be at Castle Bromwich.....its next door! :p

If you could have a look that would be great, mine looks as though theres nothing in the middle. Should be honeycomb all the way through.
