Back on the road with working ABS, after many years of trouble it turned out to be a broken wire. I love my new multimeter :worship:

Curburough again tomorrow with the club gti lot, if anyones local and bored pop down. Was hoping to have a huge list of improvements this time around but time has been my enemy, once uni's out the way in the next few weeks im going to stuck in and start ticking things of the list.

Hopefully tomorrow will be an interesting update with a little video and a few pics :)

Cheers guys, I would have been faster walking though

I'll have to find the dodgy chinese distructions out to change the time, probably more hasstle than its worth. Good for £15 though ey?

Changing down into the right hander off the strait? Yeah the ABS was in overtime, hit the brakes hard and they wanted to lock. No heat and the tyres are a joke, I should have changed them a while ago really. Hancook RS2's are floating my moth ridden wallet, R888's are now stupid price :(

Don't think they are mate, just better tires. Everyone had R888's because of the price, now they have put them up there's better alternatives. Hancooks are £50 a go so not bad really.

jenk is not a happy boy :(

Need a new lock set for the mk2, got burgled last night and they took one of the keys including my stop lock one. Mk4 luckily escaped theft by refusing to start, no immobiliser chip in the key they used so it wouldn't fire, found it a few yards from where I parked it on the street with nothing taken or damaged........somebody loves me or my mk4.

Thats **** fella, at least they nicked a dud key. Get the police on it finger prints will be all over the car.

Did they try to take the MK2 as well or were you out in that at the time?

Hope its all resolved soon.

They took a laptop, ipods, jewelery, anything downstairs worth anything, including my car keys. Second time I've been burgled but first time while in bed. Not nice at all. West Midlands police where nothing short of amazing though, thought they had a sniff of catching them so sent 7 officers and the chopper out. Beats last time when it took them 5 hours to turn up.
