Well, I have put the car back to standard now after having misfiring issues for the last two weeks. If it all goes really bad I want warrenty to cover any work that needs doing. I have had the latest software flashed to the car and the latest updated spark plugs put in. Milltek TBE is gone now and replaced by the stock system so we will see how she behaves now. Touch wood, been good since last week when all the work was done so if it all seems fine I may get REVO to reflash stage 1 software. Alternatively it may seem I will get rid of the car for a Leon Cupra. It will be a sad day indeed if it comes to that as I really do love the bocanegra but to sit with issues like this when the car is not even 18 months old is unacceptable to me. Watch this space...........................

Jason I feel the same with mine. I only have the Forge induction kit left on mine at the moment. Have not even re flashed the REVO after the last update on the software for the car. New car is being orderered in December ready for delivery in March. Mind made up, love the car for the drive but not the hassles or the creaking!!!

So what you getting Brendan? I am looking at a Leon Cupra now on a 57 plate. Need to put some money back in my pocket every month instead of spending even more.

Sorry to hear this Jason, but it seems the most sensible thing to do.

Hope something better comes out of it though!

What you getting chuck?

Thanks Char. The car is behaving now that she is standard again but as said, I have lost faith in the car so think I will get something new and still wanna stick with SEAT. I am so loyal to the brand it is actually sad hahahahahahaha.

Jason. Well after much deliberation and testing its the Punto Evo Esseesse and a Focus CMAX for the family car. Got a very good price on the Evo as well cant say why really bit hush hush. Thing is that for sub 20K you get 180bhp, Brembos, leather interior, sunroof, KW shocks floating rotors and all the bits that come off you get to keep. Ordering the Red with sunroof, back half wrapped black to finish it, Grey Esseesse wheels. Still not sure about the side decals but will come with either black or chrome door mirrors.

Dealership is at the end of my road. So no hassles for warranty or servicing!

Aftermarket tuners can get the Punto up to and just over 200bhp and no warranty issues as long as its ordered through Abarth dealership.

C MAX............ its an MPV what more can I say. 1.6 and you could put yer gran in it. The RS is going as well to pay for that. One practical one Vrooooom Vrooooom :D:D:D

Nope they were truly hopeless. Think that oil use is acceptable. In 18 months I have spent £150 quid on oil not including them topping it up. Just going to get rid of it and start again. I have paid my deposit on a new car it will be ordered in December ready for the new plate next year, its also the facelift version.

Would have got the DS3R but it was too much even with a bit of a deal from them. Scirocco was rediculous for what I wanted to pay. Year old one was nice but, the tax was quite alot and also fuel bill.

March/First week in April. Char all being well. Got 4 more months left on this one. The dealer also agreed a trade in price for it in writing for March next year. Thing is the Abarth comes with everything and I mean everything. More toys for alot less money if I specced out the Bocanegra with the equivalent like brakes sunroof body kit etc.

I do wonder at some manufacturers and their pricing, Seat I feel are no longer good value for money.

Sorry Mark, just saw this now lol. I was getting offers of between 10K and 11K. Citroen offered settlement on the DS3R deal which was 12.5K. I am glad to say that since returning the car to stock and changing the plugs and the new ECU update I have not had any issues. So now that REVO have released the updated software which is the same version I have I will get stage 1 reflashed and see what happens. Wait and see time again lol.
