Jetex :p

Magnex are very nice to look at, but won't offer anything in terms of performance gain. Ask Badger Bill about Magnex, he saw the insides of one and how restrictive they are and now hates them!

Is the 2.0 8v different from the 2.0 16v? The 20vt exhaust is identical to the 16v. I put a 20vt exhaust on my old 16v and the exhaust was the same apart from the tail pipe.

I think the 16v was officially meant to have a slightly bigger bore than the 8v, although I had a 16v Remus backbox on my 8v that fitted straight on so who knows. And many people have fitted standard 20VT exhausts to 8v and 16vs

I think he's been through this on another thread :)

I've got a magnex on my 16v at the moment - it takes a lot of adjusting to get it hanging right, plus uprated rubbers are a must or it will just eat normal ones. Sounds nice, but at 70-80mph it gets a bt boomy (6x4 tailpipe, twin 3 might sound different)
Janspeed - got this on my girlfriends 8v, sold as a 8v/16v fitment, but comes with a sleeve to adapt for the two different sizes. Sounds growly, doesn't knock, but does need the back valance trimming as the pipes sit high.

8v's use a 50mm pipe, 16v's 55 I think I am right in saying. 20vts use 55 on the standard pipework I think.

Mine did 126BHP with standard everything. Ryand's on here did 128BHP standard. Yours would have done 124.9 anyway, the exhaust makes little/no difference at all.
