id of had the golf gti over the cupra anyday m8, just betta built

Yeah but you see hundreds of them knocking about, all with the same replica Audi alloys on. At least when you drive a Cupra you can be proud of having something different.

Wait til you have to tax the thing, that's another £180 for the year.

You'd rather have a golf than a cupra? What the feck are you on about, my mate has a 1.8t golf and mine is a shed load better. Better handling, quicker + the same interior etc.

Are you on drugs?

must be.......lol! however they are nice cars but every one has them and every possible thing has been done to them that is possible! there just every where! nice well built reliable cars, i could argue the anniversarys look better than a cupra, but...common! id rather have a mint cupra which alot of ppl wont have a clue what the spec are on them and suprise a few faces as well as being different! im thinking if i get this cupra,

the list will grow as well as my knowledge!

colour code bumper strips
lcr front splitter
lower on coilovers (cant decide what make?) plz advise!
17" porshe boxster alloys
de-wiper
de badge leaving cupra badge
good set of bulbs (white light) and sort out the rears so no eggy orange!
revo or jabba remap? plz advise?
exhaust im stuck on as i want a oval tailpipe to fit the gap perfectly but needs to be a subtle quiet until the foot goes down, i had a magnex on my old 106 bubbled perfectly! but advise plz?
panel filter probably green cotton and smooth airbox

and abit stuck from there! im sure more will be going on, but unfortunately i dont know enough about these cars, YET!

comments? suggestions??

thanks again for your help lads!

glad you got it sorted - it will be well worth the money.
most of your questions have been covered in topics already - in great depth too! so best to do as search really. You've got several choices with coilovers - depending on choice, but FK Silverlines seem to be what most people go for around £600. Remap - theres is literally tons of info on these on this forum! Exhaust, if your planning on tuning the ibiza then the best bet is to go for a turbo back system from the start - blueflame do one with an oval backbox and you can get them for £525 - which is very reasonable price for a cupra!

Don't get your hopes up otherwise you'll come back down to earth with a huge bump if you can't get buy because you can't pay the insurance on one ;)

You are only 18 mate, why not just lower it and do cosmetic things until the insruance goes down and then think about tuning it up. It will be quick enough for you.

thats the thing i want a 200 bhp cupra if i wanted to keep it standard i would just buy a 106 gti, ill be keeping the car for a while anyway so doing all these things will take time as i hardly get much time off work, insurance will be £209 a month for the last four months remaining before my no claims come through, so cosmetic till then!

Personally i don't think your extra years NCB is going to make much difference, but who knows.

I think that asking for a 200bhp remapped cupra as an 18 year old and not paying a huge premium is asking an awful lot.

yes i will make a difference for the whole premium next year i will pay just over a grand fully comp, standard that is, and mod wise i might tell them i might not depending on what i do.
