Been on a while now, love the noise and the car felt so much stronger after it was fitted, dont know how it would compare to the dbilas though.

Its a shame the Heat shield 'Foam box' isnt a little tidier. Hopefully see a little gain though and some noise will be a nice change

deffinatly does the job though keeps the area around the filter nice and cool. I agree though it looks a bit naff.

I just cant get over how much they are asking for these simple intakes. Thats a lot of money for a couple of pipes and a filter.

Thats shocking :-o the alloy tubing in particular looks identical to the ITG's. I love the fact they are using a Forge silicone hose in a kit which is going to market to compete directly against Forge's twintake.

I agree the foam heat shield in the ITG kit isn't exactly easy on the eye, but it all looks a lot better in the flesh and serves a purpose.

True.... but you have to also consider the amount of research and development that goes into producing these kits. As we all know its not just a matter of knocking a few pipes together, there are many factors to think about i.e. properly scaled maf housings, ability to flow a sufficient amount of air aswell as keeping intake temperatures as low as possible etc...

As with anything, you get what you pay for IMO.

It is identical, everything upto the 90 degree bend that goes to the filter exactly the same and £5 more expensive, wonder if theyve done a deal with ITG or just blatantly copied them.

Theres not a great deal of science going on here. Select biggest free flowing cone you can fit in the spare space. Next select the biggest intake pipe diameter you can to pipe to the maff housing keeping oem maff csa to maintain calibrations, pipe to turbo whilst maintaining correct temp rating of silicone. Consider running cold air feed to intake and possible shielding.
R&D my arse, more money than sense, a BETTER kit can be made for less. Not knocking it but doesn't anyone get pleasure out of doing things for themselves. Of course these kits are going to look similar the same happened with the MK1 leon kits because there is only one main route to take, ITG hasn't reinvented the wheel here.
All of the MK2 leon intake kits look good and considering your getting a TIP in essence too puts it on par with say a Mk1 dynatwist and forge TIP say price wise, but have a go your selves.;)
