I think it looks better without the big spoiler, but as has been said dave it's your car and what you think looks good should stay.

You can bond them on and I now have polycarb windows going on soon which don't have the holes in them.

think I will have a chat when it take it to the bodyshop to fit the windows, see if it's a pain to repair the holes in the tailgate and match the paint, etc....

Spoiler suits it mate, no point messing with bodywork now its all fresh.

Well popped the car up to OSE today to have my windows fitted and the other day I noticed the paint cracking on the spoiler where it bolts to the tailgate, which he told me today it isn't the paint it's the fibre glass.

So asked if it will be any problems if I have it removed, the holes dealt with and the oem spoiler fitted. Said it can be done and won't be able to tell so he's going ahead with it! The 16v spoiler has been ordered!

lol now the truth is coming out! Be honest it's going to look odd to me but I'm not having this spoiler going like my old one..... had silicone on it to hold it up before it went into the bodyshop! So once I seen this crack I just rather it gone sooner than later

Been on a search for a garage for about 4 months now, even resorted to posting a leaflet type notice through peoples doors that I liked the look of their garages around my area. Filled in forms to the council in my area and had my parents do the same in their area, waited 2 months now and haven't heard off either areas!

Sold the trailer because I found it wasn't easy getting the car in and out quickly and if it's raining I would get soaked! The next option is this;

i really like your car im always looking at this thread so thought it would be best i comment so i can see all the updates,i think its going to look much better when 16v spoiler is on,that tent for your car does it get anchored to the ground? if not i can see that being a problem with the wind blowing it on your nice new paint job.

Thanks fella! Few more updates to come over the next few weeks. Yea you bolt it going the floor, fold it over the car and then lock it to an eye bolt that will also be drilled to the floor so don't think the council will be too happy if they see it one day but if they give me a garage I will happliy take it down and repair the holes I'm going to drill lol.
