is it possible to get 300 bhp+ from lcr with standard turbo?

Mine made 280hp/300 lb torque on jabba,s rollers and 267hp/320lbs torque on awesomes last year as it is now.
So the power was down on awesomes rollers but the torque was up:shrug:Who knows.
Dont see much point going for any more power untill limit slip diff is in.

as said, Jabba's rollers are always some what optimistic

267 seems about right...although the torque is a little high

Shows that RR figures are somewhat take-your-pick really...

The relationship between torque and power is such that for torque to rise and power to fall would basically mean that your engine revs have been decreased. Go figure really....

My RR figures are just about as believable too with 281hp and 209ft/lbs ! I'm just happy to believe it's somewhere between 260 and 275hp. :)

209ftlbs is low.... arnt they about that standard. nm and ft/lbs are two different measurments of torque. the nm will be higher than lb fts but mine is getting over 300 ftlbs of torque.

280's is easilly possible, i've seen it on a couple. try snow performance water meth injection mate! gotta be worth a couple more ponys! lighten the fly?? better clutch? better internals?? better manifold? hybrid the Ko4 (not sure 300 is posible with it but you can get dam close)

you say you have seen it on a couple. ive seen more than a few people claim over 270 from a stage 1. but is it true, how do we know realistically if its true or not... i think most people would be suprised what the real bhp output is. i think there is too much difference in the figures between the same car and same remaps or as close as, revo amd cc jabba etc all at a stage 1 arnt really going to produce alot more, or less power than each other just difference in drive.

Difference of people saying they are getting 240 to people getting 275+.. difference in that much bhp is a remap in itself. so it just shows the figures are all over the place, none are accurate i'd imagine. So there is no real way to find out unless you are going to get somebody in the business you know well to be totally honest and run the dyno without messing with figures then its dyno lottery.

if you have a good lcr with no faults, no problems etc, same mods as somebody else same remap then there isnt much reason why you shouldnt be seeing the same figures as those, its not all down to the figures as ive said its how its driven, how the power is put down, and it can be much bhp as it wants in a straight line but will it go round a corner..

exactly, figures are for the pub. Saying you have X amount of BHP is fine but then bragging about it makes you part of the c0ck brigade or just trying to reach a figure for the sake of it to me is pointless, and all too often people miss the actual point of modifications.....its not just about numbers

In my early modifying days I thought it was all about the power and the "big figure" but its not, just as you said

its about IMO having a good driveable car, good spool and plantable power throughout the rev range (hence switching back to a k03 Hybrid). This to me on a road will be more than enough (around 280bhp) and gives the optimum for a good all round car

realistically a k04 hyrbid will get a solid 290bhp...

take what dyno results show and what tuners supposedly quote with a LARGE pinch of salt

Yep agree with that - a flat torque curve with a good power output will be much easier to drive than a peaky torque curve that happens to have a higher peak power figure ( because it is just that 'peak power' ).
