best thing to do is take the centre console off, and i think you need a small torx screwdriver to actually take the screen out of the plastic to be able to view the LED's. as you say, you may just need to chance an orange cover to blue ? i dunno mate

I really can't remember which car this is for but I'm sure its the ibiza...I think all the LED's are soldered onto the circuit boards so it wont just be a pull one bulb out pop another one in, but like i said not 100% thats the ibiza lol
just to add if they are soldered in, then just be careful when unsoldering them, as if there are delicate electronic chips etc, in the panel, then you could damage them with the heat from the soldering iron,

Lol, I took my dash out the other day, easy as heck, but the LEDs are about 2mm wide, projected sideways. Soldered into the main PCB, which you can't get to from behind... well, I couldn't in an afternoon, didn't want to break my new dash
I'd presume that the centre console ones are the same... not 100% sure though still, sorry. Hope it's a bit clearer...
