welly on yours now?
what was on there before?

10g/s is indicative of something (if) boost is same level comparison wise

Ohhh yes :)

Boost level is the same as before just high Peak airflow. Seeing around 280gs where as before mid 260s

You can actually feel where it continues to pull where as before it felt like it hit it's limit.

304 g/s on Eurojet cooler with aircon delete, with Revo intake on APR Stage 2+. Without WMI the car sat 3 or 4 degrees over ambient on full WOT with WMI it is 3 or 4 degrees under. Max boost is 2740 mbar actual at 4000 rpm and timing angle is 25 degrees at 7100 rpm with no correction factor 0,0,0,0

Higher peak flow with the same bost achieved is indicative of a boost leak.....

I didnt have a boost leak, as it was pressure tested during mapping. More efficient flow will show better airflow. Air flow readings dont mean anything on these cars interms of comparing results with others as the maf housings very in shape and size on different inductions. But for me, running the same induction before and after shows there is a gain.

You can get a THS one for not much more, if you pm them on eBay you can get one for £400 as I just placed order with them today.

Unfortunately couldn't collect even though I live 5 minutes from where they are based...

China cooler and creation motor sport coupler. £220 in total. Why spend double that for the same thing?

It's down to personal choice, I'd rather have something that is sold by a proper company and have test data to back it up

I'd agree if they were actually selling a different product. I know a ths supplier and he confirmed these coolers are the same. The only difference is the silicone and joiner. There's nothing wrong with either, just buy the unnamed version for half the price. The China cooler is proven, me and 3 others I know have used it, exactly the same performance as the ths :p

I still stand by my word, that all tfsi stock fitment coolers have a flow restriction, one in the inlet end tank. 2, the inlet s pipe.

Even if they are I'd still prefer to buy one from a UK company so that if anything happened i would be able to do something about it. Rather than with the China coolers you don't have any kind of come back I would assume?

Plus with THS only being round the corner from me makes sense for me to go for one of them. I was looking at a China cooler before buying the THS but having one on my mk4 golf 1.8t has put me off using one again so I'm a bit biased this time.

without measurements unfortunately to support this idea

data helps confirm.

Again no data but we both know that sweeping bends create much more efficient flow. I did have some photos of the old cooler and you can see the tight turn inside the inlet, very square non sweeping. Also the fact my airflow increased after fitting the wellycooler, pressure tested before removal of the China cooler.
