I'm running a stage 2+ cupra with 368 bhp and printouts to prove but still on a stock clutch and intercooler. I've spent thousands doing it all in one month and was Hoping somebody on here can give me some part numbers for the right s3 cooler and an uprated clutch that doesn't rattle like mad and a decent price maybe even preloved parts will do, any help would be fantastic thanks?

That's good to here about the shark map, I'm booked in there on the 6th December. I was thinking about a bigger intercooler but don't want to lose the aircon.

Im skeptical of that power level too, large corrections in use perhaps, it certainly wouldnt have made that power for more than 1 run before IATs climbed to silly levels...

Anyway...

It seems the old 'Wellycooler' setup that was tried and tested on the Mk1 is the cheapest way forward. The china cooler works well but on the higher HP setups it's proven to be flow restrictive, it's great on my baby K03 though. Another option (although pricey) is the Peron intercooler available from AKS which has had some great results.

The guy compared my dyno to a revo'd cupra and the shark map killed it on torque and was generally a better map across the graph but intake temp reached 55 so I no I need a cooler. if your car is healthy mate I'd reccomend it £100 cheaper too.

When I can upload pics will post it on here 7 more posts to go lol.

I don't see how it could be restrictive when it's identical to all of the airtrch/darkside intercooler??

End tank design I think. I do mean at higher HP setups when pushing for the most out of 2+. Plenty run them at 360ish without issue
