Hi all, quick question
Has anybody any problems with a recent OTA freezing at around the 60% mark? My 2024 (June) is seeing problems and I know somebody with a Born has the same issue. It keeps reappearing as an update but each time I try to install it just freezes saying "Update in progress....".
It says the update contains
Store
> Easily access the service revocation form by scanning the QR code in the Services Cancellation section
> Visual and technical changes have been made

Appreciate any assistance
Thanks

No problems that I'm aware of, although it would help if I knew what 'OTA' is. :-k.

The Born has a completely different infotainment system so it’s likely to be a different issue

Go to settings, system information and take a picture

Togli e rimetti il fusibile della OCU
Grazie per il suggerimento, ma le istruzioni del manuale d'uso dell'auto sono errate in quanto non includono informazioni su come accedere dietro il vano portaoggetti, e sembra davvero stretto.

Thanks for the suggestion, but the car user manual instructions are incorrect as they don't include information how to gain access behind the glovebox, and it seems a really tight fit.

I'm sure we are suppose to be talking in English. Dealers would call it a non serviceable user area or words to that effect.

The manual may or not may not tell you about that area and techniques to get at it. Certainly in the Ateca the fuses by my dealer were regarded as a not customer access area. This may help:

@East Yorkshire Retrofits any ideas, bump in the road to versions ?.
Did the update on my Cupra Ateca 2024 and it took ages looking like it was freezing with a few totally black infotainment screens occurring about 4 times. I guess the cpu doing a reset but lack of progress info makes for a nervous wait. Back to the old issue of missing radio station logos. The few that I had have now disappeared after the update !!

They will be reboots as it's doing the updates, quite normal. Doesn't surprise me that logos are missing. On going issue that their radio database is missing station logos and unlike mib2 you can't add your own.

Do you want to do a picture of your infotainment system screen like the one above with the radio station release code. I'm wondering whether all Seat and Cupras are below the current Vag release which we know won't load on Seat / Cupra

Anybody got to that or above. That's v1.31.50.

It just got worse today. No sound from radio. Thought it was just the station but when trying a few touch buttons managed to play BBC R2 . Now no matter what button I try the station BBC R2 is playing. Now back home so will go back out and see if reset.
Been ok for a few days since the update.

Ok the walk away and let it reaset seems to have sorted the radio as all stations showing now. It was strange as looked like the cpu had not pulled the DABstations as only one showing and when tried to switch to AM then back to DAB/FM it stayed on AM.. Infotainment loop?
Radio version is 1.31.48

Thanks for the serial number I'll see if I can drop my hand on that file from anywhere. Ofcourse it could be the release code of the logos rather than the delivery method from which they are packaged.

I seemed to have answered my own musing here:

So basically it's the release radio collection rather than the package. So you got a package in there that you can't get in off the VW / Skoda file, didn't do Seat / Cupra thou and has the missing stations. Crafty for Seat / Cupra to withhold the file from offline so connected only... but missing UK stations. There might be an offline Seat file somewhere that dealers have access to. Reckon it's got to have those 'SE's in it as I've said on the other thread. When you see them you know you are in business.

On the radio if you get impatient of the 20 minute wait you can always long press the on/off button,
