To be honest, if it doesnt fit etc then the manufacturers/ sellers are plain stupid - would they not have simply bought a forge and had it copied?

Or, is this another case of hating something as its half the price and made in china? -how much does a tip costs to manufacture?! - i bet its well under £10.00 maybe much much less, someones making big money out of us.

I have a friend who has silicon coolant pipes made for another manufacturer of car, they are upto the standard of forge/samco stuff for sure.

But yes, qualitly control issues are common in china so i wouldnt be suprised if it diddnt fit as well as expected really!

they fit okay actually , my mate bought a set of hoses from them for his s4 , and another friend bought the one at the top in the e bay link , they look exactly the same as forge pipes , just with a different make on them

if they are anything like mk4 samco one's you will have to modify them to fit. Forge have commented on the Zenaracing ones before and said they were crap. Buy cheap buy twice, forge have devolped them for the mk3 Ibiza specifically - so use theirs, iv fitted 2 forge TIP's, easy fitment and great customer service - well worth the extra few £££ in my opinion

no i just make up these random comments of advice for fun, and if anyone can get anything cheaper or half price, I warn them off as i could not possibly have that happen!

its "cheap" for a reason, silicon is poor quality, fitment is poor and as it is poorly made, the pipe will flex and most likely lead to boost issues

also as you say its a "copy".....you have answered your question yourself there, its cheap becauase its a "copy", not because they produce them on mass and can offer lower prices and a real deal, the materials used are cheap, simple as that

one thing I have learnt is to NEVER scrimp and save on engine modifications, otherwise you are setting yourself up for future problems

here is what I mean

These hoses have been designed and manufactured with the utmost care given to quality and performance.
The silicone compound used in the construction of the hoses is of the highest sheer strength available and is hand-laid with a polyester reinforcement fabric. The layering of the hoses is far more uniform and consistent than of that from any other manufacturer which improves the overall structural integrity of the hoses up to 50%.

I'm not quoting this as me being a "marketing" victim of Forges advertising giant, what Forge quote is completely genuine and they quote it for one very good reason "Quality"

with the cheaper brands, such as ones from China, you will be getting the type of quality you get in the first two pictures (company A & B)

i have to say there is defiantly a huge difference in quality of silicon hoses available. I did a custom big turbo and big intercooler conversion on my old pug 206 HDI and i initially used the cheap hoses from ebay. I was running nearly 2 bar, and two hoses literally burst. i replaced them all with forge and never had another problem....

The hoses are thicker, stiffer and a lot more resistant to dirt etc, the cheap ones looked awful after about a week!!!
