To be honest, if it doesnt fit etc then the manufacturers/ sellers are plain stupid - would they not have simply bought a forge and had it copied?
Or, is this another case of hating something as its half the price and made in china? -how much does a tip costs to manufacture?! - i bet its well under £10.00 maybe much much less, someones making big money out of us.
I have a friend who has silicon coolant pipes made for another manufacturer of car, they are upto the standard of forge/samco stuff for sure.
But yes, qualitly control issues are common in china so i wouldnt be suprised if it diddnt fit as well as expected really!

no i just make up these random comments of advice for fun, and if anyone can get anything cheaper or half price, I warn them off as i could not possibly have that happen!
its "cheap" for a reason, silicon is poor quality, fitment is poor and as it is poorly made, the pipe will flex and most likely lead to boost issues
also as you say its a "copy".....you have answered your question yourself there, its cheap becauase its a "copy", not because they produce them on mass and can offer lower prices and a real deal, the materials used are cheap, simple as that
one thing I have learnt is to NEVER scrimp and save on engine modifications, otherwise you are setting yourself up for future problems
