hows it going suj?

got it sorted yet? or even found out exactly what it is yet?

you got to try and get it sorted for the mids mega meet 16th december!!!

hey mate, been so busy with uni coursework (4 had to be in with 5days separating them, and all handed out the same week) so been manic, just handed last 1 in, so now i can concentrate fixing her

yeah i know mate, i wanna come too! it's right around the corner (as i'm in cov uni) so fingers crossed it's cheap/easy to fix!

can i ask a favour, you have an ABF engine right?
well in this thread i put a "name this pipe/part number" thread, but mine ripped straight through the part number (just my luck) when you got time could you see if states a number please? as i think it's that causing the problem!
if you can't no problem mate

hopefully she's fixed and i can come see all you guys!

Engine breather pipe that goes to the vac opperated valve for splitting oil and water to pump all the nasties back into the emissions system. Also links to idle stabalisation valve which is under the inlet manifold/plug lead black plastic cover.

Any problems with this is likely to cause the revs to drop off at idle.

Check for leaks and clean it all - should do the trick!

oh it is all sorted now :D

basically there is 2 sensors on the throttle body
1) where the butterfly pivots
2) on the opposite side (where the mechanism of the TB cable attaches on)

well number 2) was broke (literally was off the metal thing that was bolted on the TB)

luckily i had a spare TB, put on, bingo! i couldn't see it, as the strut brace blocked my vision before!

but when i start the car now the oil-light comes on (it is on min. when checking the level)
but soon comes off? what could this be?
hopefully the head hasn't gone in the end! fingers crossed, will top up and check regularly

thanks for all help, will be going mega meet now, woop woop!
