Tspark - im pretty sure its a vnt17/20 if that makes sense ? i bought it second hand put it on, then got it mapped to make the most of it.

Ibiza 130 tdi - yeah thanks mate :) the cooler is the seat sport one, was on the car when i got it, i just took it off to make sure i sorted any boost problems out as after the new turbo went on i had a little problem with boost hoses blowing off  to be honest with you i wouldnt mind getting some custom pipework sorted out as at the moment its the forge kit which uses bits of the old pipework which i dont like but i dont think anyone does a full kit yet ?

Thanks for the comments

cupra.al: yeah it does get sooted up quickly, i use sps4 in my fuel all the time so that cuts the soot down alot. Ive been thinking about de-wipering the back but i actualy use my rear wiper alot especialy this time of year so i think ill leave it as is for now.

turbo009: Yeah i love DC2s they are great cars, completely different in every way to my TDI, just been for a drive in it and it feels like an electric motor almost how smooth and quickly it revs. I couldnt justify the insurance n fuel bills though at the moment. Surprisingly though, they are almost totaly evenly matched on the road! Mine has loads more at like 1.5k upto say 4k but the DC2 starts going at about 5k all the way upto 9k. Im happy anyway, i get the speed and more comfort at a lower price :funk:

Si_TDi_FR: Bought it with the front mount mate so couldnt tell you if it made a differencr or not but it has to lower charge temperatures as its massive!

william7938@hot: I did all the work on the bumper myself smoothing the reflectors out n relocating the exhaust tunnel under the bumper, i also had to modify one of the plastic support bars so the pipe could be run across the back of the car. I had the exhaust made by JP exhausts in macclesfield. And they have done an amazing job, the workmanship is incredible but there waiting list is about 2months at the moment i think. You would have to ring them or somewhere similar for a qoute on price, but i would guess that normal retail would be about £300 for the full system made on the car. I already had the oval tail pipe from an old project so they worked me out a price.

It looks like the mods have tagged this onto the end of an old readers ride thread which i thought had vanished. Thanks mods :D

Well coilovers are a no go :(
The new house ive moved into means i have to go up the pavement to lock it in my yard at night. I would be too paranoid to leave it on the street where i live so it has to go in there and it scrapes the spliter already so any lower is a no go :(
boooooo
But new wheels are on there way hopefully in the next few weeks so ill keep this post updated.

Just put new disks n pads all round aswell.
Went for grooved fronts with tarox rally+ pads and then mintex stuff on the rear. And WOW the tarox pads are incredilble, not the cheapest by a long way but the setup i have now is imense, feels like the back wheels are coming off the ground when you stand on them.

Pics to follow when new wheels are fitted.
