Making another?? Haha if this one breaks I'm committing suicide lol

Na it's not that bad

buy a spare centre grille (not essential but advised) and dremel out the all the slats. buy some honeycomb plastic (ebay is good). cut the honeycomb to size, superglue it in, body filler round the edges to blend it all together and strengthen. i then used some satin black spraypaint and then some silvery enamel paint to mist over and create that anthracite look. then bought a flat seat badge in chrome, then paint that. 3m sticky foam pads to attach the badge. and its all good.
cost; £20-£50 depending on whats in your shed already

Haha I would say good luck finding me.... Lol

It's not that hard, just time consuming.

I paid about £5 for the spare grille and £15 for a
Big bit of honeycomb and already had the body filler, if it doesn't look good at the end you still spent less than a night out :)

it was beyond simple mate.

litterally got 2 flat universal brackets from the local motorbike shop, bent them to past 90 degrees, screwed to number plate and then screwed through lip, through bracket and into bumper, cost me about £3 including buying the screws lol

but if you wanna see it in person that can be arranged :)

So does it not knock on the bumper?

Yea man you'll have to come up to one of the many meets in Bristol mate. There's a massive one going on on April 29th where it's literally called the Bristol takeover, cribbs causeway will be taken over by modified cars! The last one was huge so this should be much better as there's loads of car clubs coming along!

(checks diary) i am free that day so may very well pop on over

i have put a sticky numberplate fixer to stick it at the top but could easily slid the bracket out more or bend it forward so it doesnt catch :)

are you a vagowners member?

Absolutely love this car, I have an almost identical one - but with standard wheels, not colour coded stripes and no remap :(
what are the wheels that are in the second picture? not the BBS or the standard.

I agree but jacking it up it's already a right pain, having to jack it up with the tiny one to be able to fit a normal trolley jack under

Debating skirts but I really don't like the aero ones. All twisted and max power if you ask me

Trying to see if polo cup ones or similar fit
