Ibiza de-locking

magga

Guest
I've been the victim of theft, whey they made windows go down and then stole everything out of the car :(

Anyway I need a bit of advice, I want to de-lock the car and I need to get it done ASAP as getting into it at the moment is SO easy !

Can I just remove the lock barrel from inside the door and be done with it ?

Are there any guides anywhere to de-locking a Mk 4 Ibiza ?

Will the blanking plate that is on the passenger's side also fit the driver's side door handle ?

Thanks in advance

i think it might be a good idea if you edit this post as it basically tells people the easiest way to break into a seat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it didn't work on my old ibiza when gits tried doing that, they ended up just smashing the passenger window.
god i've had i lot of luck with these little cars eh! :D
anyway i would suggest editing that post TBH as if it just says the "Brake in trick" people would get the idea, but at the mo it tells everyone what exactly it does the the central locking system:no:

there is a way with vag-com to turn the window wind down of isn't there?
surely if you do that the "trick" wouldn't work anyway:shrug:

so if it happened to you you would be perfectly happy and pay for it out of your own pocket cos your insurance excess is more than the repair let alone what gets nicked
