got the forge strut brace fitted with the standard cupra suspension. no spinning action as yet! even with the poo-zero tyres, the car holds the road really well! another plus point for the cupra!

Just did a test quote on one site and it came out at about £900, probs be less if i renew with greenlight. Not too shabby for an SE9 postcode

Ahhh... you not far away from me at all... but I have the benefits of a Kent Post Code ;)

whats your 350z like compaired?

The 350Z doesnt feel as quick as the Cupra. The Cupra always wanted to be revved, I couldnt just sit on the Motorway doing 60-65 but in the 350Z its easy.

The 350 is a lot quicker than the Cupra though, you just dont realise the speeds that your getting to & how quickly it gets there.

It handles better than the Cupra, though is very twitchy in the wet.

Fuel consumption is about 18MPG.

The 350 is a much more grown up car than the Cupra was, Its big, heavy & very lazy (much like me  ) The interior is nice & well built.

The best bit about the car is the sound :cloud9: I keep visiting tunnels to hear it :) cant wait to get the Decat pipes fitted.

Its very expensive to tune & for very little gains as the ECU reverts back to stock after a mods are added, so far Ive spent over 3k on it & ive only had it 6 weeks

Once I can insure the big mods ill be getting it supercharged.

Overall im very happy with the change & it means that I no longer get people in Clios & Corsas trying to race me.

Im sure ill think of something else to add later on

The 27mpg was what I used to get when I used the Cupra everyday mainly motorway miles.

Another thing i have a BMC CDA on my Lupo at the moment and was wondering what the inlet (i think thats what it is) size is on the petrol Cupras. I did a search and found a few have fitted a BMC. Has anyone got any pictures?

ive got a viper at the mo but im wanting to buy one of these BMC CDA airfilters as they look alot better and are less common! and sounds better performance wise!

So far ive bought an Induction Kit, Polished Induction Pipe, Plenum, Decat pipes, 19" wheels and a few other bits & pieces. The 19s will arrive by end of January & the plenum & decat pipes should arrive next week.

Once the 19s are on ill be ordering Tein Coilovers, bigger brakes & an exhaust then Im pretty much set to go with a Supercharger.

Hope So :D

Can run it on standard internals upto 400BHP, after that Id need to strengthen most things, Looking at about £10k to do that alone. Im aiming for 390BHP which should be safe on standard internals.

If I can get the Suspension, Brakes & exhaust sorted in the next 6months, I may gradually work on internals for more power but im undecided on that at the moment

Went to SEAT yesterday and i dont really like the new gear knobs and the steering wheel looked a bit OTT. Were the pre-facelift interiors different? Anyone any pics?
