I am finally a LCR Man :D got a few questions i need help with

When I was going to get my exhaust fitted in Sheffield, I filled up and did 360 miles in total there and back to Cheshunt. When I got back I still had half tank in the car. I basically did 360 miles on half a tank. How I did it? Driving at 60mph like a grandma. Its unbelivable how less the car spends sitting on 2K revs doing 60mph.

Its true on a run at 60-65 these cars are epic i get similar mileage insanity en route to the ring..

Yeah but if you worry about that you'll never drive it how it deserves, I don't rag it everywhere I just know if I wanted good mpg I'd buy another more economical car, or take my tdi caddy, if you don't drive these cars on the limit with the back stepping out and engine singing your frankly missing out, but I agree if you must fill up the boot with kinky outfits, sex toys and strawberries and embark on a dirty weekend away with the bit of **** at least you'll have enough change for slap up meal to really get her pants fizzing ;) lol sorry....

I put in £60 of octane 99 and I managed about 350 miles,(about 43 litres I think) might I add compared to putting in just the normal octane 95 (at the time its was all available to me)I was pushing the car to go better on mpg than when I had the 99 in the car...........................after a good old drive against a Honda s2000 that wkend was another story :funk: quick cars I was abit surprised (mpg  )

360 on half a tank in a LCR? seriously?

Ive just done that driving off boost on 3 1/4s

Yea, I am very serious about that. I was on my own in the car and did 60 mph all the way there and back. What was your average travelling speed on the motorway when you did 358 miles on 3 quarters? A lot of difference on MPG between 60 and 70 mph.

But if your drive off boost turbo cars are more economical than non turbo cars. It's only a 1.8L engine so it should be ok if your do 70 down a Motorway. I only get 10mpg less than my old Ibiza cupra tdi on my trip to work so I'm very happy with that.
