Hybrid turbos how long can they last

All depends on how you treat them.... full boost when the oil is still cold, hammering them till they glow cherry red then turning the engine off without a cool down period will kick the erse out of the turbo.

Treat it nicely, let the fluids get up to temp before giving it some welly and let it cool properly before shutdown are all ways to keep the turbo in good health. Change the oil more frequently too. There's no reason why a hybrid shouldn't last for a good few years (unless its shite to start with).

done mine last year, always wait till warmed up before giving it some
oil change keeps things running sweet

as prev post - no reason if looked after properly.... just change when you want more POWER:lol:

As long as its been built correctly with decent bearings and seals, again, no reason why not. If a fair part of your driving is on the motorway with the occasional blast in the country etc, you should be able to get a high mileage out of one - motorway cruising speed is very unstressed for the turbo.
