Most Swissol stuff, I just got Shield wax and a wheel wax kit from him. Email him on: [email protected], his name is John Wintle. He's a nice guy, I ordered my stuff from him via PayPal on Sunday, got it Tuesday, 20% discount I think it was.

I've only used the Megs clay bar so far, so cannot say which is better - I only really clay my car twice a year.

been following this and am really tempted, i've got an onvi (yellow) ibiza and have just spent a few hrs buffing it up (que bad back again!).although it shines and you can tell its been polished im yet to see a yellow car that gives as good a reflection as a blue or black car, anyone got any pictures of one?

tried everything to get the little black specs off, i think you said "clay" would do this easy? going to order some, any "must do's" when using it, other than i persume keep wet

Clay is straightforward to use. Make sure your surface is clean (ie just washed), keep the surface lubed and turn every so often to keep a clean bit of clay sunny side up. If you get any bits of crap in your clay you can pick them out but if you drop it then just throw it - not worth the risk.

hey clay will get the black marks off, if not try meguiars scratch x.

you will always struggle to get a light car to look as shiny as a dark car, because you wont get a proper reflection, your ovni is also a flat colour (non metallic) so this makes it harder too as it wont look as "deep", but this does not mean you cant make your car shine, you will be able to make it look amazing with the right products, when i get my ibiza i will post up some proper shiny pictures

good guide, the only thing i would say is perhaps cut your clay bar in half, this way if you do drop it you only ruin half, also you can use old clay dars for removing brake dust from alloys ;)

Definitely. In fact I normally use much less than half, more like a quarter. Basically as little as I can get away with without it being too fiddly = more likely to drop.
