Funny you should ask this, i have just done mine relatively easy, best place is to use the blank space on top of the oil filter, then run the wiring back into the car through the gromit to the right of the pollen filter, i did look at fitting it to the sump bold but it is very vulnerable there, so i put the temp sender there.

Hi, dont understand what the pressure unit is with the gauge, and where to screw it into?
also if i remove my standard sender wont the oil light always be on the car?

The pressure unit sends the info to the gauge via a wire, there is a spare port on top of the oil filter all you need to do is unscrew the gromit screw and put the sender in there, i bought an extension piece which lifts the sender up a bit so it would fit :).
