hot weather = poor performance?

Mine has been seriously slow this afternoon, like the MAF had gone!
Check engine light was on, vagcom said negative charge diviation!

thats odd, i cant say ive noticed anything really different when the air con is on myself.

I used to think that it would affect my MPG but this week I've had it on non stop and I'm still getting 53mpg trips.

Same here, did 350 miles yesterday with climate at 21 degrees all the way (external temp 37.5 degree max!) and didn't see any impact on MPG.

I think the car is a teensy bit less eager with climate on but it might be all in the mind

air con affects mine pretty bad - no idea why. As much as 7 or 8 mpg difference over a trip. This is with it set to coldest, speed fan 2.

I like the wind running through my hair anyway, so would sooner have the windows right down. Gets a bit blowy past 70 though....

the theory is that having the windows down is worse for mpg than the AC because of the extra drag involved with having the windows down.

That's obvious. AC must get power from somewhere, like your engine.

mine since new turbo and remap is being v v fast soo when the temp drops i'll **** myself!

remapped cupra so around 200 but with less wieght aids 0-100
