Hey People,

Decided to share my experience after only 1 month of ownership:

- no complaints about the car in general
- everything works as it should
- dcc and matrix lights are recommendation, in case you have doubts
- consumption: 8,5-9 ltr/100km mostly around town (90%) and the engine is still running-in (1000km)
- longer drives are expected soon ;)
- driving: car feels very comfortable for my taste (especially in higher Comfort setting); power delivery seems fine and there is enough power for my driving style and age :)
- DSG - had no experience previously, but I like it very much. Quick gear changes, no jerkiness, kick-down works really fine
- Driver attention monitor - is very boring :)
- Comfort (mhev) mode driving: some people said that there is certain hesitation and wierd feeling once they try to stop the car...and this is true, as the system is working like that. If you are inexperienced driver it could be maybe even dangerous. Once going downhill, you put your foot of the accelerator, it shuts engine off and kind of accelerates (because there is no engine breaking). The car is trying not to engage engine practically all the time and in every ocassion. It def. needs some time to get used to it and to learn the system. But, if you don't like such way of motoring, the resolution is to engage Performance mode.
- Performance mode driving: mhev is not engaging (or I don't notice) and the car tends to keep engine in higher revs, mostly changing gears at 4k rpm. This driving mode better suits me.
- Individual mode: just set everything as you like and go...I use it all the time.

Let me know if you have any Qs :)

Picking up a v2 1.5 etsi in cosmos blue on Tuesday , first suv for us . I am thinking of fitting some grills to the front to protect radiators as they are very exposed.

Cool, good luck with your new car @cuprabod !
And let us know your impressions once picked up.

As for the front, yes it looks quite open, but I don't know if there are any elegant solutions available...yet.

having had a formentor previously, same engine and now with the terramar, the road noise I've noticed is drastically reduced in the Terramar, though both were on 19's, the tyres have more rubber on the terramar which helps with the road noise.
Hello what's the road/wind noise like iand how does compare to other cars (specifically formentor if poss

I would say its better than Formentor.
Terramar is more grown up car with more sophisticated suspension set up.
Up to 100kmh there is no noise at all, I only hear tires rolling :)

Had my v2 etsi Terramar for just over a week now , lots of tec to get your head around but overall I really like it and it came on Bridgestone tyres which are a lot better than some of the other options . I was concerned that the ride might be a bit soft but that's not the case . Very impressed so far .
