Once theres a flow with one of those valve's the flow will continue. it just stops water going back up into the tank. As for pressure switches, ok idea, did it on my last set up but you get the most gains from spraying before boost then once in boost it can help to reduce the temps slightly.

Main use's are to reduce the heat soak before coming onto boost, especially if you've been in traffic. I'm onto spray system #3 now, was never happy with #1 (on SMIC) and #2 (on FMIC). The new SEAT jet's are crap and just spray two points like a 'V' you want to get hold of the old ones that spray a fan \\|// as they are far superior for intercooler spraying.

Hopefully will have system #3 done after my holiday.

You would be, tbh.

just supply the water at one, or both ends and have it spraying down the way. If it just points down it wont be ideal for when the car is still, but when your moving should carry it into the IC.

At a guess it will be very hard to get the spray-bar looking that good as it comes coiled up and you have to shape it....:S wibbily woobbly

With a Spray bar, the contents come out all around the bar, these are also used for CO2 cooling, but water should be fine.

My spray jets, spray in a big fan effect, and not in a V though.

Question is, what size spray bar?

it would be really easy to make this out of 10mm microbore copper. its eay to straighten too if you have a spring. Got over 100metres in my warehosue at work. might give it a try if i get chance. as far as jointing just use soldered fittings again a really easy task, when you have the gear.

The spray bars on that site, dont come like that, you have to shape them yourself:

The spraybars are supplied as a universal kit with the above parts and the perforated tube is coiled up ready for you to shape it to fit your intercooler. We offer the kits with different lengths of tube so that you can get the right amount to make the perfect sized spray-bar for your car.

So im still looking for some others.

I'll be using the indicator stalk and using the rear wash for the spray, maybe a bit awkward but as i ditch the rear wiper i dont need the rear spray.
