Heater Panel Lighting.

After replacing original Seat headunit with an aftermarket heaunit the lighting on the heater panel will not lit anymore. Hazard light etc is fine. Could this be the fuse? If so which number would it be. Or have i disturbed the connection behind the heater panel while pushing all the wires of the headunit in ? Did feel the back of the heater panel and all seems intact. Any help or suggestion appreciated. Thank you.

what heatin panel? do you mean the rear wind screen heaters or the one on your climate control panel?

i have tyhe same problem but all mine was working and i had a crashe front drivers side wheel ans bumper but it looks as tho its pushed a little rad back maybe the aircon got home and noticed the climate controll panel isnt even powering up checked the fuses there all sound any ideas pal ?

Air con or climate control?

On the air con models you just turn the heater to 2 and the whole switch will come out when you pull forward, revealing the bulb behind.

Climate screen blackout not working

Hi I'm new to this site. I've had a the same problem with my mk2 Leon fr .
I have climate in the Centre of my car above stereo. LCD screen went blank one day and fan + climate did not work at all.
I did notice engine fan would spool up when engine was cold and continues to run when engine is on.
I checked all fuses and they seem to be fine.
But I have solved my problem by disconnecting the battery for ten mins or so.
Then I reconnected it and the display and all the climate functions work as normal now.
I think that the computer needed to be reset!!

i have the same problem but i had a little bump my climate controll completly turned off, do you think if i dissconnected the bat and re connected it wud reboot it and come on...im also loosein boost wen car started can smell some kind of exhaust gas or somekind anybody any ideas

Hi m8 . Go for it !!!
I thought that my climate had blown up for the past 2 weeks until today.
I was preparing myself for a big bill to get it sorted.
