Hello, I'm replying on this thread because it's the latest. I solved the problem with Bison fast-fix2. My plastic clip was gone so I had to try a fix or buy the entire handbrake. I did a small cut on top of the plastic stick(as in the photo) for better grip with the glue.I applied glue inside the button to the clip hole(not more, you might get the handle glued completely) and pressed it back. I applied some tape to hold it in place for a few hours. The result is better than expected.
