Halfords fitting on subwoofer? 2024 ateca

Hopefully someone can help answer this. Normally I wouldn’t trust Halfords with anything other than an online order but my cupra ateca has the standard sound system which is just terrible. Halfords offer fitting for £10 on subwoofers, ones that supposedly can work off standard speaker wiring. Will this work seeing as it’s SFD locked infotainment? Can the speakers be swapped out for better performance ones of the same size too?
