Plugged my 2006 TDI Sport in last night, managed to activate Opening and Closing windows from the Remote okay. Don't have auto lights, but Coming Home feature works if I leave them switched on. I tried to activate Leaving Home Lights, which said "OK" but when I tried to adjust the time limit it says Error Module not Found. I suppose it's not installed on my car?

Is this the correct place to post a Fault Code Log? For help with some errors I'm getting?

Which one's the coming home setting? Is that when the lights come on when you unlock the car?

No, its the opposite. When you Come Home, you get out of the car, lock it, and the lights stay on for a while so you can see the path to your house. These work fine if I leave the headlight light switch at the "On" position.

I wanted the "Leaving Home" lights, which would come on when you unlock the car. At the moment they don't come back on until I get in and turn the key.

Is it possible to have the side lights permanently on, as DRLs? I have LEDs in mine and like to have them on all the time.

Thanks for that, must get my cable out and try again, think I might have been doing it wrong then :D

your leaving home lights should work I had some problem turned them on in long coding helper but you need to carry out adaption change for time as they are pre-set to 0 meaning they wont come on. i put mine at 30 secs.

Yes this is where i went wrong too, my time was set to '0' and i changed mine to 20seconds and works perfect.

I managed to turn the seatbelt bong off, but still can't change the alarm to chirp when activated or deactivated.

There is an option that says something like "Prevent alarm horn changes" or similar and I've taken the tick out of that, yet its still there when I go back in.

Same here. I have ticked the options for lock/unlock confirmation (horn) [which were in Bytes 10-11, and not 6-7), but the horn doesn't sound when I lock/unlock.

I also found that option which says "Horn Confirmation Configuration blocked". It was ticked, I unticked it. Still no horn when locking/unlocking.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks!

PS: Lovely thread!

Hi guys, I am planning to get VagCom shortly and split the cost with a mate.
I have just upgraded my 2011 Leon FR 170 with an RNS315.
Can anyone help me with setting the rear Parking sensor display? They currently beeb, but i read on some forum that they should work with this display.

I have not seen any mention of the codes for audio, nav or bluetooth on here - anyone?
Cheers
Tim

I think it's in central convenience or navigation. Check the quick code and I think there is a tick box. Once you get the cable you get support from Ross tech a quick email will give you the answer if all else fails...

Is this definitely correct? I haven't tried yet, but from reading countless posts it seems the concensus was that you needed the convenience pack with auto-lights/wipers etc for the leaving home lights to work.

I'd like to activate this feature if it's true!!

Will this definitely worked for me as I don't have automatic wipers an lights installed on my Leon. I just keep my lights switch on (24/7) sort of speak an they go on an off themselves. It should work ok for you dude
