right just been on the phone to them and he said to put the mbc in and steady the boost levels to start with cos he said my boost levels were all over the place ranging from 0.4 to 1 bar ie serging, once these are are stable then he said he will start doing the fault invest with the logs and he said that the knock correction is another fault which he can not fix until the boost is stable
he said they do not log actual boost meeting requested boost( very strange i thought this is v important)
timing was on 2 boost 4
couldnt remember waste gate % off top of his head
do not have wide band but AFR was 12-1

pump is working fine, but may just drop in an s3 pump if it flows more????
3" maf housing with standard element but was replced cos my old one was goosed
they were using vagcom when on R&R apperently
im sure this will all come clear when logs are done with ian cupra 2morrow and you can have a look but if it safe boosting my car with 12% knock???
Replaced the MAF element with which one? the part number off the 3" tube or off the ibiza one?

If theyre logging using VAG COM get them to do the logs of the blocks i've said unless you've got the car back.
If its boosting at 1 bar i very much doubt it would surge at that much pressure, without seeing the compressor map i would guess its pretty effcient at 1bar being similar spec to a 28rs, plus DPJ is running 1.5bar+
