Haven't got a scanner at the moment to put graph up, but from 3500 rpm upto redline it pulls very very strongly with no drop off in power or torque.

Its really quite silly, with this cold weather iam getting masses of 3rd gear wheel spin which is nearly putting me in the hedge every time.

The GT2X setup is very good and is working well for me. I think have done approx 5000 hard miles on it without a hickup.

To confirm, i use S3 injectors which are 382CC @ 3 BAR, but i use a 4 BAR which takes them to 440CC, these are aparently good for about 350BHP

I can't beleive your current injectors are maxed out though... they shouldn't be

Thinking logically here - Mitchy has a hybrid k04 running plenty more than 300bhp supposedly and that's on 3 bar 380's - so your running 4 bar shouldn't be anywhere near

I would suggest a poor mapping (probably unable to edit the tables required to scale it correctly) - that or an honest typo and they're scaled the wrong way or something

Mine were defo hitting 100% before they should be. I think its poor mapping to be honest, need to get it re done some where else, had nothing but problems with the map.

What can i log with vagcom, to enable you lot to see whats going on.

Maf values & injector duty would be useful I think....

see if the air flow continues to rise once the injectors are maxxed out

I'm new to cupras.. and the VAG ecu..but in most tuning circles it is considered unwise to run your injectors at any more than 75% duty cicle...

100% just means that they are open all the time and can over heat and cause other problems (inaccuracy).

but I dunno I'm just a newb.. and maybe this fancy VAG ECU takes that in to account or something.. ??

Not yet mate, cant afford it at the moment, Iam waiting for a air filter to arrive from france so i can get the ATP hardpipe intake on it and up the boost, also ordering a wideband lamba setup to keep an eye on fuelling when i up the boost to 1.4 BAR.

So this should all contribute to more power, and you're on 284bhp at the moment.....!:)
Are you aiming for 300, and is this safely achieveable from gt2x?
Take some pics when you fit the air filter and hardpipe ;)

When it was on the rollers at star and got 284 BHP it was 25 degrees C redhot day and i had a manual boost controller on it, so the boost was dropping to 1.1 BAR. Now i have the Apexi AVCR on it, and it holds 1.3 BAR all the way.

So who knows, 300 would be nce, but it would depend on the rollers aswell.

Me and pete are gonna go to the same RR on the same dayto compare figures as we know his is 323 BHP.

I will get some photo's up as soon as its on.

sounds awesome, it seems like a nice step up if you have all the k03s mods, i guess revo wouldnt be compatible though if i wanted to go gt2x?
Wouldnt be for many months yet, anything around the 300 mark I would be very happy with though, but can I ask if you wanted more boost again would you have to sell it and go gtrs elim and would that be plug and play?

Also whats your best 1/4 mile time
cheers

When i first put the GT2X on mine it was running Revo Stage 2 and seemed to run nicely.

Iam gonna try mine a 1.4 BAR as Robdon has, but no more as i dont want a blown turbo.

GTRS is the next step. I would need bigger injectors, and a different TIP plus map, but i wouldn't take that route.

I might have the chance of a cheap IHI setup of Bill's old golf as my mate owns it now, but not sure yet. The car is fast enough for the time being.

My best 1/4 to date is 13.8, but i was having boost issues cause the apexi wasn't setup properly, iam confident its capableof a 13.5, but who knows? iam no driving god, lol.
