Klone that sounds very petty to me. Unlucky bud.

correct the copper just didnt like me because of the tints tbh... once he'd written the fixed penalty, he was fine with me. didnt stop me shaking his counterparts hand and not his though.

I removed them last night (ones still in the f*cking bumper where he poked it [:@]) and i put the originals back in with amber bulbs and went out as per usual... within 20mins... i saw him again... just flashed and drove on past... no tug this time...

spoken to a few MOT stations and they have said that it shouldnt matter because LEDs are nondirectional, so therefore should only be shining downwards as they are being held in the bumper!

yeah well i thought about saying that but i decided to pipe down lol.

thing i cant understand is there are LOADS of units like these on ebay.... for all different makes, and i asked if halfords LED bulbs are ok and he said "no, their white" and watched 6, yes SIX cars drive past with them!

these cost me £25 because i wanted to do it properly too :/

fancy selling them? :p lol
but if you had blue they'd be acceptable, they weren't facing rearwards, they were facing to the floor :S if I was you mate, go get some legal advise from either the citizens advise bureu or a soliciter for half hour - £10 or even free!

i really want them back in because their really cool looking.

They need a bit of modding as they fit quite snugly but you can push them into the bumper (like one is currently stuck in there)

but i would like them back in.

Might actually go down to the copshop and ask... see if i can get something printed...

Takes the sea biscuit mate. I haven't bought any new LED's since mine gave up on me.

Reading your post kinda puts me off now lol.

let me know the outcome... also it depends on who you speak to, you need to speak to a senior traffic officer. or someone that knows the law inside and out

The ultra LED ones are supposed to be best... ive blown 6 sets of the ebay jobbies... because the rear lights run more than 12v... need to have resistors on them or something.

give me a bit, will see if i can find out the legality of those units aaron... had a busy weekend.

Yer mate that's cool
I've just had enough of that orange glow from the back
Especially as I've put nice new numberplate surrounds on it
