I haven't got an LCR

Same here in 3 different cars now and never any problems with any of his stuff.

I used the 37mm ones and just bent the clips on my lights to give the bulb a tighter fit and there fine

The 39mm would be a nicer fit but will the light be the same as the 3 LED 37mm version? Might give one of these a go before Dan's option as they're alot cheaper..

Well my 37mm 3 led one gives a very nice bright White colour and illuminates the plate very very well, so the 6 LEDs should be even brighter as long as it doesn't make it to bright. Get one of each and see, you can always use them in other places for the one you don't want to use on the numberplate like in the glovebox, boot or middle interior bulb. I converted all my bulbs interior and exterior and they are all still working fine.
Cheers for the info dude. Didn't even know you could use these fitment of bulbs in the interior, boot etc so might get a set of each and use them up where possible.
i had the JP ones... well i still have one left... and i have had three sets from him.. all failed.
I was told something about the lights running on 14v once the car is running so this kills the bulbs?
JP confirmed that this is the case with some cars.

See, i have had the warden ones for years and not failed.

Yeah that's what i said... but JP said himself (or herself i suppose!) that they wont send me any more... even though i sent them videos etc of my lights flickering and failing. I have tested halfords ones and they work.. but i refuse to buy them for their prices.
