They blend in nicely. I like :)

Any news on the coilovers?

I'm humming and haring about fitting them TBH.
The adjusters are pretty well locked in place and I can't shift them by hand (with C-spanners anyway). Having said that I have yet to really attack them with gusto. The stuck adjusters wouldn't really bother me but I think the fronts might be a tad low for me as they are.
Not sure about the ride quality of them, but again I will only find out be fitting them.
The springs could do with a refurb too.

I might use them as a long term project ie. strip them down, refurb the springs, clean them all up and fit new adjusters or try and budge these ones.

Have you ever been in a car with coilovers fitted?

Really loving the wind deflectors mate! Go well.

I've been looking into gettin some for ages, but for what they are, they do seem a bit pricey, as I'd have to get 4, 1 for each window, or would look pants just on the front I think.

How much did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking?

Cheers Gordz. £30 all in from ebay! Not too bad I thought. Would be slightly more for 4 doors though. Will have a look at the sellers site to see if he has Leon ones. Back in a minute....

*EDIT*
Here you go. Different seller but the same brand. £34 all in http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEAT-TOLEDO-L...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2c53187c2c

Cheers mate, they're the ones I've been looking at on ebay recently!

So are these Heko ones pretty good quality then? As one of my main worries buying from ebay and not being able to see them is that the plastic could be flimsy and just snap easily?

In the process of selling some old surfing gear, so will give me bit of extra cash, and gonna spend it on either wind deflectors, bonnet bra, or those custom sun shade things.

But I think it'll be wind deflectors now I know that these are good quality. Cheers!

Good plan. Will have to give a shout out to some local forum members for a spin in their coilover-equiped rides! :)
I like the ride height of mine at the moment... but the rear could do with dropping a bit!

After I first fitted my coilovers I really didn't like ride comfort (or lack of it!) I have tweeked and changed bits over the past few months and it's much better now. It's still firm but the suspension soaks up the bumps rather than transfering them right to the chassis, then me

If you're ever near north London I'll let you take out my Ibiza.....convert you to the darkside too ;)

Good luck with selling the gear. More money for mods.... :cartman:

Sounds like you have your set-up spot on then! Where abouts are you in N.London? I grew up in Eastcote and went to school in Harrow so am about there sometimes!

The dark side does have its plus points.... ;)

Means you can open the window to let a bad fart out on the motorway without getting that awful ear drum bursting wind noise ;)

So everyone with wind deflectors fart badly? Cos otherwise you'd just put the air con on like a normal person???

So Mike farts like he's going for Gold?

And, if you open the window less than half way, it won't thud. Or open the other side one and it'll get rid of it! There's a talent to stop the thudding without having "fart wings" attached to the top of the glass. ;)

I live near Hendon, North West London.

I dont like or see the point of wind deflectors. Each to their own! :)

I think they mainly help smokers smoke....not the diesel kind

Not just for farts :cartman: but also apparently keeps windows clearer when raining (unsure on that one), plus they look cool on the right car and I think on a grey colour car they look great! [B)]

Fitted my Team HEKO wind deflectors this PM and took a couple of snaps. What are your thoughts folks? Took about 2mins to fit them and very impressed by the quality.
