Glovebox help

The mrs' glovebox is broke, the hinge is hanging down on one side, can anyone, from these pictures tell me how to sort it (she's nagging me to fix it )

She's adamant the car was broken into and they did this (no damage and all they took was some sunglasses, she left the car unlocked, but I think she's losing her marbles)

It hangs down like this...

And this was on the floor.

isnt that bit of plastic just a clip it pushers in to the hing should be a hole where its hinged to the dash

That's what I thought mate but it's all closed off on both sides and underneath. Cant see how the hell it came out.

to be fair like you say cant see how its come out as there hard to pull out unless the hing has been snapped.best bet to take cover of and have a look may be
