glove box light

Would like to add a glove box light to my v plate mk2 tdi, any ideas what it involves im in the dark so to speak

depends what sort of light you were looking for mate, probably find one on ebay, then you will need some sort of switch (open close) to put in between the power (maybe from cigg lighter?) and the light bulb?

think the hardest part would be finding a suitable switch to use..

when i looked in the owners manual it looks like some were fitted with boot and glove box lights as standard and as I do a lot of unloading at night these would be very useful. amy ideas how hard it woul be to rig those up using parts from the dealership ? will the wireing be in place etc ? cheers

quickest and maybe cheapest is to buy one from the scrappies(i'd get yours aout and look for the wiring first though),peice of cake to take off and on.
BUT! watch out for the light it has a very delicate rocker switch on the back of it,and i never managed to get mine working on the cordoba iirc
about 15 quid i paid i think.mk4 polo/classic one fits also.
