i really wouldt buy a corsa when my bro blew up his first 1.2sxi then he traded it in th car had a engine change then sold he got a 1.4sxi and he was glad to get rid of it... and vauxhall garages are worse than seat ones! but your choice... me i would of just brought a ibiza Tdi...

I laugh at Corsa's everyday their with their ebay lexus lights and body kits and teenage boy racers fixation with massive exhausts!

i've had 2 corsa hire cars...one a 1.2 and one a 1.4 sxi

1.2- headgasket went after 2k (car had done 9k already)

1.4- lower suspension bushes collapsed, arms and driveshaft all banged eachother about...wheel and hub almost collapsed on me.

think i'll stick with my ibiza

i agree the ibiza is a nicer looking car, but if they are such good cars why are the majority of posts about various mechanical and bodywork issues, the majority of my family drive vauxhalls and the worst problem we have had is a timing belt snapping as it wasnt changed at the appropriate time, which should have been done before my brother bought the car

because we all love our ibiza's and we would like the best, we may moan but it gets sorted to perfection! ever since i have seen those "accidents" it would not put me off one bit about the build quality of these just look in a scrappy to see how many ibiza's are actuly in there compared to others.... and how badly damaged they actuly are but yeah i agree there is so much better out there for 7K...

exactly u get what u pay for mate... £7k brand new u are not going to get alot (even if it looks liek you are) look at the euro n cap ratings for them... and compare it to the ibiza... which is a proud 4! highest is 5... in this little car i wouldt expect more than a 4 but if it had it great....
