Hallelujah, He passed! :D No sunstrip anymore, because they had to fail him for it - but they took it off and passed him :)

He feels much better now too - they tweaked his timing, tightened his handbrake, and sharpened up his brakes too, so driving much better

Tip top :D wohoo !!! What did they say about his sunstrip

Probably something like "You don't need it as we haven't had any sun yet":)
Great news its passed Nic.
Mines hibernating now, it only comes out on special occasions (company motor). But at least i can spend more money on it and keep it clean.

Option 1 - not happening, it'd only be about 1 inch deep

Option 2 - tried it, the wipers have to be 11" long  BUt over the next year I am going to modify some regular wiper *arms* to be about 6" shorter! Got 12 months to engineer it, even if I have to phisically chop and reweld them....

ARGH!!!!! i have managed to get a set of 15" Arosa sport alloys dirt cheap but the down side is 2 need a slight refurbing but nobody can do the satin finish on them , one wheel refurber specialises in powder coating but doesnt have a satin finish option so thats a no , then the body shops have said they would just use a matt laquer so im not so sure if it would turn out the same :( only other choice would be to change there colour but then they would be harder to sell on cause people would then think they were the Ibiza alloys :(

oh on a side note ikkle 'rosa *might* be getting replaced soon , im just getting fed up of no power

What are you thinking of getting ? Im getting a little tired of driving an automatic, went out for a nice long drive in the punto sunday and came back got in my car and felt relieved !! It was so uncomfortable, have to drive with the steering wheel in my chest to reach the pedals. I wanted more power but, went out an bough a new drill instead :p

My friend used to live in Motherwell he got the wheels on his bike powder coated by a company called ESP powdercoating. They did a satin finish on his wheels for him. You could try giving them a call.
