Gearbox

Just got my hands on a 04 FR diesel with 6 speed box, but it needs a new gear box (great big crack in the diff carrier bit i think it was?) but im new to the whole seat side of the world and wasnt sure what other cars this box would had been on and what code would the box be? Have been searching away but no definate answers

For some reason I think the gearbox code is FSM?? Your engine code should be ASZ. Have a look at the sticker under the carpet in your boot, It should be written on it. If no luck with that then your best off ringing Seat and getting them to confirm your gearbox code.

The code will be stamped on the gearbox too
