Gearbox Just emptieed itself....

AAAGGHHH!!!

Was just driving to work and changed to 2nd at around 8 to 10 mph and there was a slight rattling noise, and it felt a little different. pulled in to work 400 yards down the road and stopped and the gearbox has dumped all its oil in one hit on the floor.

I have had a look underneath the car but cant see anything, its def gearbox oil but its strange asd it is all over the top of the gearbox as well.

Any ideas anyone??

sounds about right mate, my mate has had a look at it and something has come through the casing, there are teeth all over the drain plug too.....
