gaiters and gear knobs

can you still buy the leather gaiters for the gearstick and handbrake and gti gear knob new or has anybody get a decent set lying around they want to part with? or...what aftermarket or other seat gear knobs fit?

some on ebay,presumably not original but leather n only fit ibiza n cordoba. £20ish inc post for both!
plenty scrap cars on there as well,shame none got the electric window unit i need and other bits! good luck with your search

hmm i did want the originals really...them things on ebay are tacky & horrible lol funnily enough though i just sourced a few parts off a few scrap ibizas and 1 had the electric window units on it...i might be getting the whole car for the engine and running gear and suspension etc but i was thinking of fitting the electric window units to mine as its got standard winding windows but if not im sure you will have good use for them!

Agree that the ones i saw on ebay looked tacky,just didn't like to say in case you like em! let me know if you got any window units,gonna do nother ring round tomorrow,n/s/f for 3dr needed please!!!

a Mk4 Golf gearknob will fit, but you need to use the original gaitor

I bought a Mk4 Golf gearknob for mine and it doesn't fit because the golf uses a jubilee-clip type attachment and the Ibiza has a threaded gear lever...

I plan on making it fit with an Alu insert though
