That may be true Mo, but i want my Leon mint i am not looking for another car, i am also looking a an engine rebuild to total spent on my Cupra could go up to 5 - 6 grand way more than the cars worth but that's not the point i love the car and am never going to sell it i may get another car but i will still keep the leon.

Fair point, I agree, like I said, each to there own, but I'm sure there's many that would agree with my point too.

Ovni Yellow (sp?) is such a hard colour to keep fresh, I've read the nightmare stories you guy's experience.

.....way more than the cars worth but that's not the point i love the car........

.....and at the end of that day, that's all that counts. If its worth it to you, then its worth it. I reckon its that simple and straight forward. My mental block (or the SWMBO voice of "reason") comes at single spend of over £1k on any one item or mod - just don't seem to be able to do it!!!!

My ovni lc is in much need of full respray only things stopping me from doing it is the cost as I'm still spending on the engine and I'm always worried that someone will go into the car just after I have it sprayed but that's just me and my sort of luck lol

Here's another pic, I just took with my phone but it's a bit crap. I'm getting my camera back this week so I can take some better pics for you.

Not the best pic either but you get an idea of how different the result it is.

That's almost white before :cartman: I bet you're well happy with it now. Looks like it faded pretty evenly though unless its just the lighting? I can't stand the patch work on mine, wouldn't be so bothered if it faded slightly but stayed even

Just had mine back from the sprayers, cost me £1500 cash but got £500 from a Lexus who went in the back of me and cracked my bumper! Looks like the brighest thing on the road, very impressed and glad he's put some UV laquer on it ... no more paint fade and no more laquer peel, looks sweet !

I've got an emocion red mk1 lc which has started to fade in a few places. Thinking about getting it redone.

Can you make this colour metallic? Is there anyway of preventing the red from fading?
